日本係我嘅 favorite travel destination，每年起碼去一次。
雖然日本人英文唔多好，但係佢地好鍾意用英文加入店鋪名字或用係日常生活中。每次我到日本都見到呢啲有趣嘅英文告示牌！
例如呢個牌，個個英文字我都識，但係拼埋之後就好似唔多明佢講乜喇！
咩叫做 "Leg strict prohibition below"？
點解除咗鞋要 "Rise" 呢！？ 
我地去到箱根因下大雨打雷，所以登山吊車被迫要停駛。呢個牌都勉強估到嘅！
但係點樣會有 "Thundercloud generation"!!? 
"It suspends it!" 部吊車自己識停駛㗎咩？

maybe they think it's funny. i find it embarrassing, not just in japan, but also in china and hk. is it really that difficult to find someone to prove read? slackers. but i cannot say it too loud for there's numberous language mistakes on our own web site. i spend a lot of effort cleaning up just my own column. |

Yeah, it's so common in China too. I agree and wonder why they don't ask for proof reading if all these notices are to be put up for public viewing! |
